"The products constructed to market James Bond films are designed to offer a clear appeal to a wide global audience of young males age 17-35."
I think this poster is definitely designed to appeal to a male audience. The James Bond holding gun, which may appeal to young men as they often enjoy danger and adrenaline. Bond is also wearing a suit which tells us his status, he's rich. This can appeal to men from 17-35 as most people dream of being wealthy. There's also a women lying in the background on what looks like a bed and she's been drawn in all gold. This can definitely appeal to men from 17-35 as the woman looks very suggestive and is all in the colour gold, which is associated with love and passion.
The colours of the poster suggests that this is an action movie. It is drawn in a cartoon style which is often associated with action comic books and can tell us that the genre of the movie is action and adventure. The red title, which is all in bold suggests power, which is often something men strive for. The red tells us that the movie is energetic and powerful which is something that most men between the ages of 17-35 will be interested in.
The same type of theme occurs again in this poster. There is a man with a suit, holding a gun next to beautiful women. There is also a lot of black and red which symbolises strength, power, elegance and is often associated with death. Men between the ages 17-35 often want to live a life similar to this, which is why I believe that the James Bond movies are designed to appeal to male audiences age 17-35.
